Nebius Group ($NBIS) Surges 14% After Nvidia Drops $2 Billion Investment
Shares of Nebius Group ($NBIS) are surging over 14% Wednesday, trading around $110 after closing at $96.43 the prior session, following a blockbuster announcement that Nvidia will invest $2 billion in the AI cloud company as part of a sweeping strategic partnership. The deal sent NBIS soaring as high as $114 intraday and is one of the biggest single-day moves for the stock in recent memory.
What's Driving the Move
Nvidia announced Wednesday morning that it will take a $2 billion stake in Nebius Group via a private placement of 21 million Class A shares. The partnership goes well beyond a financial investment — the two companies will collaborate across:

As part of the agreement, Nebius will gain early access to Nvidia's latest generation of accelerated computing hardware, partner design materials, design review processes, and early hardware samples.
