Alert when triggered

Here’s what you’ll receive when an alert fires:
Tendrill - Tue 2:30 PM Your AAPL alert just triggered! Apple dropped below 170.Currentprice:170. Current price: 168.45 Your position:
  • 80 shares worth $13,476
  • Down from $14,600 when you set the alert
  • Total change: -$1,124 (-7.7%)
What’s happening: Broader market selloff on Fed rate concerns. AAPL down more than peers today. Reply “keep watching” to set a new alert, or “why” for more analysis.

Smart alert suggestions

Tendrill may proactively suggest alerts based on your portfolio:
Tendrill - Thu 9:15 AM Alert suggestion Your NVDA position is up 85% and is now 34% of your portfolio. Want me to alert you if NVDA drops 10% from here? That would protect against giving back $4,450 of your gains. Reply “yes” to set this alert, or “no thanks” to dismiss.

Best practices

Set meaningful levels

Choose price points that would actually prompt you to act, not arbitrary numbers

Don't over-alert

Too many alerts leads to alert fatigue. Focus on what truly matters

Use percentage alerts for volatile stocks

Exact prices matter less for stocks that swing 5% daily

Combine with research

Set alerts, but also ask Tendrill for context when they trigger
